Suzie`s Cafe & Catering in Valparaiso

Just picked up food for the first time from Susie's, and it was amazing. Wonderful service and food. Well worth the 20 min drive. My food was ready when I arrived and still warm when I got home. I'll definitely be back!!

Suzie's is such a great place to go and have great food, wonderful service, and a relaxed atmosphere. I've always enjoyed my meals and experiences here.

The staff is very helpful. I have ate lunch and breakfast and NONE of the food has been ever bad! The prices are within reason. Their dessert leave you speechless. My only complaint would be they get busy and you have to wait, on weekends.

Really nice breakfast and bakery in Valpo. Great pastries and breakfast fare. Nothing unique, just a classic big breakfast menu. Everything I've tried has been great! Super friendly staff as well. Recommended!

Small, cozy home vibe with lovely staff and a beautiful, recently renovated modern rustic interior. A lovely place to eat at any time of the day with extremely reasonable prices, your stomach and your wallet will be satisfied

Excellent food and service. Suzie is always sweet. Years ago, I used to deliver food product to the restaurant. Very, very clean kitchen. She always has a smile. Wonderful baked goods too. 5 easy stars.

I have always loved Suzie's. Today I attended a bridal shower there, and it was absolutely lovely! The food, as always, was wonderful. The desserts were amazing!

Always the best. Social Distancing is practised here as well as, staff wears masks. Food tremendous and Bakery goods looked delicious.

Suzies is a very nice upscale feeling restaurant. We went for breakfast and the food is amazing as expected. The most impressive meal for us that day was her oatmeal. It was loaded with walnuts and bananas! I mean, like really loaded! See the pic...Also, be prepared. There is lots of sweets for sale at the counters. The staff is wonderful. You will really like this place.

Great food , great service, always busy. Only reason why I didnt give 5 * was because I have a favorite biscuits and gravy restaurant that would rate a 5. But very good biscuits and gravy by the way.

Delicious breakfast/brunch spot. Great prices! The eggs Benedict was slightly bland, but their cinnamon roll is a MUST try... it's huge and absolutely delicious, an indulgent treat for everyone.

Great food and service. Very clean. Modern decor. Friendly staff. Kid-friendly. They have indoor and shaded outdoor seating. Nice atmosphere and awesome food. The fruit was fresh. I’m impressed.

The overall experience was good. The servers were nice and friendly and we were seated quickly and got our food fast, even when it was busy. Although, it was confusing in regard to where to stand in line to get our name on the seating list. Portions were large, too. I got the eggs benedict and a fruit plate. The eggs benedict were cooked well, had a good amount of sauce but the Canadian bacon could have been better quality, i picked some bone out of it. My friend got corned beef hash, eggs, and homemade wheat bread and she thought the bread had a nice flavor and was big! The baked goods looked great but we didnt have room for them. In regard to the pandemic, i was uncomfortable with the adherence to social distancing. It was packed! Tables were not 6 feet apart, i didnt see anyone sanitizing the tables, chairs and doors. Some of the employees were not covering their noses with the mask, which defeats the purpose. Overall the food was good and id go back but not in the era of covid 19.

The food was delicious. The cinnamon rolls are amazing. Portions are huge and the service was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Suzie's Cafe has the best breakfast in town! If you eat gluten free, they also have a nice selection of gluten free breakfast options that I can't find anywhere else in town!

We love Suzie's! It's always a pleasant experience. Staff is always attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable of the menu. Food is always fresh and delicious. Not to mention.... the cinnamon rolls! Huge! And so so good. Definitely check this place out.

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Hands down the best place ever. You have to try their blueberry muffins AND their HUMONGOUS cinnamon rolls. You'll be addicted.

The cinnamon roll is to die for plus it can feed a table of four! I also ordered the gyro omelet. I would have never thought that gyro and feta cheese go together but it works. Yummy! We live out of state but will be visiting this cafe every time we come visit our son.

Never had a bad meal here. Wings are a bit small, but the large portion of fries made up for it. I left full

Been to Suzie more than once. I have to eat Gluten Free. A friend suggested this place and been going here ever since. Love the food cause they have Gluten Free options "Wonderful!" Breakfast is awesome, Gluten Free pancakes delicious. Gluten Free bread delicious, had a grilled turkey avocado sandwich with criss cross fries Delicious. My Bestfriend and I go here all the time for breakfast and even will do lunch too. Delicious GF cupcakes too. Great staff friendly and great food. Thank you Suzie's

Excellent restaurant. Their bacon is something special! Servers always seem happy to be there so I’m guessing they’re well taken care of!

The sink skillet is plentiful and a perfect combo of meat, veggies and cheese

Second time we went here and so delicious!!! We didn't get the chance to try the cinnamon rolls last time, so we went earlier this time so we could. OMG!!! It was huge and delicious!!! I even put some of the frosting from it in my coffee. Our server Meg(???) was wonderful, along with the rest of the staff. Portions are great for the price. Even so that my husband has leftovers. We will be back 😀

Great news. Susie's Cafe is open for business for inside dining. On Google Website it says no inside dining. The site is incorrect. They have been open for a week now. Food was excellent. Service was great. Wonderful family experience.

I’m so sad we never knew about this place prior than today. A great find that’s slightly off the beaten path. A very nice variety of foods to choose from. We stopped in near closing time, but was never hurried or felt rushed while enjoying our meal. The owner herself made sure we were felt welcomed. The bakery offers so many beautiful and delicious different types of pastries. Will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend you do stop in and you’ll be delighted.

Nice and friendly service. Has an outside patio to enjoy the good weather while you eat. The raisin toast and the cinnamon rolls are HUG and delicious!!!

Best breakfast spot in Valpo! The portions are huge, the food is amazing, and the staff is always super friendly. Hadn't been here in a while, and was pleasantly surprised by the remodel. Very affordable as well compared to most other breakfast places in Valpo.

My daughter ordered a delivery Mother's Day breakfast for my wife and me as something of a hanger-on. The order was delivered "Touch free" and on time. We both had versions of their eggs benedict. Both entrees were perfect. Unbelievably, for a delivery item the eggs were perfectly cooked and everything was still hot when delivered. We also had a lovely fruit plate and two huge French toast orders Suzie's style, which appears to be their cinnamon rolls, flattened, egg dipped, fried and covered with their cream cheese icing. Unbelievable! Excellent!

Suzie's is amazing! Every time we go it's a wonderful experience. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. There's never a long wait for your food and the portions will leave your belly full! And oh! It all tastes like heaven! ❤️

This woman started with nothing, and with hard work and amazing food, she mad her way in the world. We use her at work for catering, and she's always been spot on. (Fried chicken -- like it was made by some 400 pound southern woman who started cooking in the womb. AMAZING.) The bakery is just as good. One time I had to pick up some food for a friend whose parent died. Suzie included a small box of cookies at no cost, because she found out I was going thru some hard times. She is amazing, as is her place.
